# 8.3.1 Improvement Proposals (IPs)

**IP Proposals:** 

Credit Improvement Proposals (CIPs) are proposals put forward by the community for improvements and updates. Anyone can submit an IP proposal to the community, and it will be reviewed through community consultation and discussion.

**IP Classification:** 

IPs are categorized into Core, Networking, Interfaces, RCs (Request for Comments), etc. Community members can provide feedback on proposals through review and discussion.
