11.2.2 Protocol Upgrades

Soft Fork and Hard Fork: In the future, CCC may involve protocol upgrades through both soft forks (software upgrades that are backward compatible) and hard forks (not backward compatible). These upgrades can be implemented to introduce new features, improve performance, or enhance security.
